Welcome to Lebanon Veterinary Hospital, your local veterinarians in Lebanon, CT.
The Zickmanns moved to Lebanon in 2004, taking over the Lebanon Animal Hospital from Dr. Baldwin, who opened in the 1970s, and established Lebanon Veterinary Hospital. It had long been Dr. Steven Zickmanns dream to have a practice that upheld the high standards and personalized care that he believes in. His wife, Susan had a business background so together they started their search for that practice. As they narrowed down their choices, they stumbled on Lebanon. Since the Zickmanns knew that they wanted to raise a family and be a part of a great community, Lebanon became the obvious choice. They enjoy having strong relationships with the patients and seeing all the familiar faces around town.
By 2017, Dr. Zickmann was busy but there were more pets that needed care. He and Susan began a search for the right person to add to the growing practice. For almost 15 years, Dr. Z worked 6 to 7 days a week and most evenings to accommodate the pet love that Lebanon and the surrounding town have! After meeting with many wonderful veterinarians, they just didn’t think that they had found the right person for LVH. They weren’t sure that he would ever get to have a weekend off…and then we found Dr. Brianna Molter.
Dr. Molter was from the area and a newly minted veterinarian. We liked her right away with her easy smile and pleasant demeanor. She was eager to learn, grow and loves people! We knew she was the right fit and in 2018, she joined LVH as an associate veterinarian.
Three years later, the Z’s were still so pleased with Dr. Molter and the wonderful veterinarian and compassionate person she was, they asked her to become a partner and commit to working together to keep LVH going for generations to come! She agreed and we have been happy partners since 2021.
Together, we all work to ensure that LVH is always responsive to the community’s pets and their needs. LVH seeks to preserve the dream that Dr. Baldwin had back in the 1970’s- to practice good medicine and serve their communities. We updated the 1970s color schemes long ago and the dream has branched out to include Urgent Care and a large surgical/dental suite but the vision is unchanged. We have pets, we love pets and strive to serve the pet community.
